This Refund Policy governs the terms and conditions for refunds related to ticket purchases made through Tathakir platform, operated by Tathakir Al-Iraq. This policy is incorporated into our Terms of Service.

1. Event Cancellation by Organizer

If an event is canceled by the event organizer, you will be eligible for a full refund of the ticket purchase price, excluding any service fees charged by Tathakir. We will make reasonable efforts to notify you of the cancellation as soon as we are informed by the organizer. Refunds will be processed within (7) business days of the official cancellation announcement.

2. Event Postponement by Organizer

If an event is postponed by the event organizer, you will have the following options:

  • Ticket Transfer: Your ticket will be automatically valid for the rescheduled date.

  • Refund Request: If you cannot attend the rescheduled event, you may request a full refund excluding the platform service fee [5%] within (7) business days of the postponement announcement.

3. Event cancelled due to extraordinary circumstances

Issues arising from circumstances beyond Tathakir’s reasonable control (e.g., force majeure events, such as natural disasters or government actions). In this case, the user will be eligible for a full refund.

 

4. User Cancellation (Subject to Organizer Policy)

Whether or not you are eligible for a refund if you choose to cancel your attendance depends on the specific policy set by the event organizer.

  • Organizer Allows Refunds: If the organizer permits refunds for user cancellations, you may request a refund through the Platform within the timeframe specified by the organizer. A [5%] cancellation fee may apply, as determined by the organizer. Tathakir's service fees are generally non-refundable.

  • Organizer Does Not Allow Refunds: If the organizer's policy states "no refunds," you will not be eligible for a refund if you choose to cancel. This information will be clearly stated on the event page before you purchase your ticket.

4. Refund Process

To request a refund, please follow these steps:

  • Log in to your Tathakir account.

  • Go to your order history.

  • Select the relevant order.

  • Click the "Request Refund" button (if available).

  • Follow the on-screen instructions.

Refunds will be processed using the same payment method used for the original purchase. Please allow (7) business days for the refund to appear in your account.  

5. Exceptions

The following situations are generally not eligible for refunds:

  • You fail to attend the event.

  • You are unable to provide proof of purchase.

  • You violate the event's terms and conditions or our Terms of Service.

6. Service Fees

Tathakir's service fees, which are charged in addition to the ticket price, are generally non-refundable, except in cases of event cancellation by the organizer, or natural disasters.

7. Disputes

8. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the updated policy on the Platform. Your continued use of the Platform after the effective date of the updated policy constitutes your acceptance of the changes.
